The museum displays ancient collections: precious Etruscan tombs of the aristocracy belonging to the period between the last decades of the VIII and the first quarter of the VI century BC, from the area between Populonia and Vulcano.

  • National Archaeological Museum of Florence is one of the oldest in Italy, contains the second largest collection of Italy.
  • On the first floor, there is the Etruscan section, which displays some masterpieces of funerary sculpture made of fetid stone and the large bronze statue of Chimera.
  • On the second floor are exhibited the collections of figured Attic pottery, a selection of large and small bronzes of Greek, Roman and Renaissance art.
